Tonite on The Learning Channel (TLC) (channel 183 on dish) at 9:00 cst is the season series premier of a $40,000 cook off competition entitled "Smokin in Mesquite".

Filmed on location in the Nevada Desert. It will be repeated on the same channel at 11:00 cst.

channel 280, ok set to record. Directv is pretty cool you can log in from anywhere and tell your DVR what to record.

Never got the "Ohh it must be perfectly symmetrical and the greenery a certain way etc. etc. "

Does the damn stuff taste good. If it does bring it to me on an old shingle I do not care.

The trained judges should make decisions on taste not presentation style.

I cannot believe the guy won it all with possum.

I wasn't crazy about the show.. Typical TLC. Drop a bunch of F bombs and add some clever editing..

But, the Asian guys from CA with the homemade BBQ Guru rig? I'd love to have their email addy.
