Trying something new, going to make pulled pork tacos out of some of this.
Injected pork butt with knorr chipotle bullion mixed with water and a little oil.
Rubbed outside with a mixture of onion and garlic bullion and olive oil.
Last generously applied MAK chipotle Rub.
On to the grill for the night, see you tomorrow:)

Sounds good.  Careful with those 'mini' cubes.  I like them but there's more salt than anything else in there.  Each cube seems to run about 800-850 mg salt.

Let us know how it all turns out.

Now you tell me :) Good thing pork butts are big as I slathered those cube things on there.
I got up at 7:00 this morning and both butts were at 163 so I foiled them and turned up the grill to 250 degrees. When I got ready to leave at 8:30 one was at 195 so I pulled it off, the other was dragging behind at 183 so I left it for Kerrie to bring to work. She said it hit 195 at 9:30, so all in all took about 14hrs total. They are resting in the cooler here at work, I will let you know how they taste :)

WOW That worked great!!!! I can' wait to try some in the tacos  ;D
If you just eat the bark it is a little salty but once you have it all mixed together it's perfect!

Did you make pics of the finished product?  Would like to see them.  Jan and I like the chipotle rub.

KyNola

Oops, never mind.  The pics look great.  Very juicy.

That looks just terrible, I think you may have ruined it. Better send all of it to me for proper disposal.  ::) ;) :)

Those look excellent. It is nice to get a smoke ring when I use my Traeger,

but when I eat food out of the Bradley I seem to forget about a smoke ring.

It's kind of like grill marks on a steak, looks cool but did it taste any better?
