not smoked, but these are some tasty fish!!!

got these guys early january through the ice. the fish at the top is 5lbs 13oz.


and into the pan....breaded in sourdough, cajun and seasoning salt.

Looks great, I eat white fish a lot in the summer.  We use to get some really good stuffed white fish
and cook them on the BBQ.   Now I'm getting hungry! :D

Mr was running late last night and brought home fish sandwiches for dinner!  Of course, they PALED in comparison to the beauties posted here, but they eased my hankerin' for a fish sandwich.

I've been eating fish sandwiches for lunch every day this week....wish I could mail you one, Seemore! Mine are a little different....I grill "excess" King salmon meat when I grilling King steaks for dinner. I then crumble up the meat with a fork, add mayo and favorite seasonings + chopped sweet pickles and spread it on toasted multigrain + flax bread. I could (and DO!) eat those for lunch all week long. I do the same with grilled Halibut steaks except that I switch to dill pickles instead of sweet gherkins. Probably wouldn't taste he same if I freeze-dried them for shipping to you!?!?!?  :-\

Looking at HuntinFool's pan fried fish, I can just imagine (and drool over!) the burst of flavor hidden between two slices of bread!!

You're right Kummok, the freeze-dried sandwich would not be so good once it reached Iowa.......
However, I might just ask Scott to pick up some salmon and we could make some salmon spread.
It will not be the same as yours, but it will ease another hankerin'.
