is it ok to bake then smoke?

thanks, i have one more question while smoking the ribs should i rotate the racks(i'm doing 3 racks of baby backs) if so how often do i rotate.

If you're going to smoke and finish in an oven or on a grill, I don't think you need to rotate.    If you're going to finish in the smoker, then rotate.

FLB has set you straight, you would want to start on the smoker and then finish in the oven if you want to use both.  I would still rotate front to back/top to bottom every hour even if you're going to finish in the oven.  It won't hurt and it should help the smoke level to be even in all the meat.
