Pork Shoulders

I have two 7.5 lb boneless pork shoulders that I need to smoke at the same time. This is the first time smoking more than one in the BDS. How long should I expect these to take at 225 degrees?

Actually it is a guessing game but I would expect an additional 2-3 hours. I have had them done in 14 hours and then in 20 hours depends on the animal.

Some pork shoulders are stubborn and will stall for sometimes many hours when the IT reaches 160.  If you want to break out of the stall faster, you can always wrap it in foil which will give it a boost.  I've found it's best to start so that you have plenty of time for it to get done.  If it's done early, you just wrap it in foil, towels and place n a cooler (FTC) to rest.  it will stay hot and ready to eat for many hours.
