Where did you score the Crown Royal bisquettes?

;D You finally saw that. ;D

An Angel from Canada sent it to me.

I have 8 left that I will save for the smoke out.

I got thirsty smelling the smoke of those crown royal bisquettes.

Now I think I will have to do a true "Cold" smoke and vac-pak the steaks
and see if it drives the smoke Home.
I like that idea a LOT...
Pull some out when you're in the mood..
And have a smoked-grilled steak..
Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhh, babe!

CRG, you keep posting those kind of pictures and my order list keeps getting longer for when I come out.  I may have to extend my vacation a few extra months so you can get the entire list completed.   ;D

So happy to hear you are saving the last 8 for the smokeout.  After seeing the pics I am tempted to assemble something to try that!

don't think our Ameri-friends have any locations closeby though  :D

it also says they are $4.99?! maybe i should go in and try to get them to honour that price - they're $20+ at Canadian Tire! i usually buy mine from Le Baron.

The $4.99 is for a small package...if I remember right, there is a pull down menu that shows the 48 pack.

Guess i missed this post the first time around.  CRG, did you have a chance to vac seal some steaks?  (or anyone else for that matter?)  Did it make a difference?  Is it worth spending the time on?

classicrockgriller

SD, I know others have done it, but the one I remember most was Caribou did some steaks for friends

during the winter time and she lives in the cold America.

She cold smoked some steaks and vac sealed for a cple days and then grilled them.

They looked off the hook.

Is like smoking cheese and vac sealing. Drives the smoke home.

We are hitting almost 100* every day so the most "I" would try is cold smoking then on to the grill.

Maybe this fall or winter.
