Uncle Pigfat

Hello from Ohio.

I wish I had been on this forum a while ago.  Otherwise I may have not screwed up as many racks of ribs as I have.  Oh well.  Discovering meaty, decadent perfection on my own has been pretty rewarding.  Looks like there's some good advice out there and I'm excited to expand my smokey meat horizons.

My delicious baby back goodness:

Cheers.

Nothing flashy.  Just the OBS.  Unmodified unless you count a foil wrapped brick.

My dealings with the Bacon Explosion have been rather adventuresome as every slice takes 4 years off of my life.  I'll be on lipitor by the time I'm 30.  See the pics below. If you're unfamiliar, its 2 lbs of bacon and 1.5 lbs of country sausage with liberal amounts of my own special rub that I affectionately call Bubb Rubb.  Other than that, it's been ribs, ribs, ribs and more ribs.  I wanted to perfect ribs before venturing elsewhere.

Okay Uncle P I gotta ask ... is that you in the green suit?  I'm just guessing but it sure does looks like a typical Buckeye before a game (green and contorted).   ;D
