Sounds like it's time for about 80 pounds of Boudin.

That looks great Sonny. You did an awesome job of it. Now I am going to have to start looking for one. Luckily we have a scrapper near here that handles food equipment.
I have something I picked up a while ago, and I'm not going to use it anytime soon,
its yours for the taking if you want it Q, theres pics of it in an older thread I started
I'll see if I can dig it up

The Smoker is at the point that I feel like it is ready to smoke something.

If I end up liking the two 110 element, I plan on having a PID built to combine everything into one controller.

I will still have to run on two separate 110 plugs unless I get an electrician out here.

Again, THANKS for all the help!

Um...just thinking out loud but if you could find a SSR that could handle the current of both elements and it has a 110 VAC coil you could do it with a single PID. I've never looked for such an animal but someone else may have?

What can I say other than it looks amazing.

Standing ovation from Guthrie, OK ;D

On second thought (and looking back to see what both elements are) that is pushing 22 amps with the SG. Yea, you may need your own circuit breaker for this bad boy?

classicrockgriller

All my test runs were on two seperate circuits and the Smoke gen

plug separately into the same plug as the 1250 watt element.

I did have to run a Hvy Gg short cord to the 1000 watt element.
