OK, part 1.

Chipotle Jerky Juice from Cabela's.

Bagged up 5 lbs of nuggets from Costco.  Added 1 tsp of Pink Powder to the JJ.

Into the fridge for 2 days and here they are.  Had a nice kick to it, I was surprised.

Rack 'em up.

Into the OBS with 2 hours of Jim Beam.

Part 2 to follow

OH YEAH

Funny you should say that, because I owe most of what I learned to you.  Thanks for the tutoring to you and all the other guru's.  I'm definitely getting better.  To think I never smoked a pipe before I got the OBS in '09.

Oh yeah, a word on the Jerky Juice.  It's good.

Looks good. Around here that much would not have even made it into the vac bags.

It was from Costco and labeled "Lean Stew Meat".  Looked like eye round to me if I had to guess.  I think it was FLBent that got me hooked on the nuggets  8)

Looks Great!! How long do you put in the dehydrator??  Certain temp or feel??

JF7FSU

I dehydrated at 140 for about 8-10 hours.  I usually can tell when whole muscle meat is done by the shiny glazing that appears and the color turns darker.  It's almost like a pelicle forms when its done.   Of course the old grab and bend is the best method, but with chunks that may not work.
