I think I am going to Cry, lets all have a nice group

UNSUBSCRIBE!!!

Seriously though, the thing I like about this forum vs. The progromming and technical forum I frequent is the folks here are just real down to earth honest folks. There's no egos here battling each other.

You really have to take a step back and see what a great bunch of folk are on this forum.  Smokeouts at NePaS's, in CA, FL, NOLA, Canada and other places.  Boxes being shipped and received all over the place.  Jan and I are headed to Hal4UK's place in June along with STC and his pretty wife. FLBR is coming through Paducah where I live in July and then head on up towards St. Louis where STC will hook up with them.  Hal, STC and brides are coming to Paducah for the BBQ Fest in September.

When someone on this forum hurts, we all hurt.  When someone needs a hand, the hand is there literally from all over the world.

Just think it's pretty cool that we all come together over something as simple as a smoker.  In today's world, that's pretty special in my book.

Proud to be a member.  Thanks everyone.

HMMM -WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO IN NEW ORLEANS???   just kidding. I agree with what everyone said.

Back in 04/05 when i joined the forum i was going through tough times--my wife was battling breast cancer and it didn't look good. I found friends and peace here when I needed it . Fortunately she survived and we are doing fine so i try and pay back when I can by adding to someone's smoking knowledge. What goes around comes around.

I think this is a great forum as well and well put by Larry and Q...it amazes me, having the privilege of meeting some of you, how NICE and TALENTED people are on here...seems as tho everybody has their own contribution (how great is that to learn new stuff) ...the willingness to help/teach others is amazing....to me cooking is the ultimate expression of living. We all gotta eat right?  ;D

This an extended family. In fact I don't even communicate with my own family as much as I do with my good friends on here.

What Q said.   ;D

This forum is great! Full of such friendly and helpful people ;D

And any forum that will accept a turtle in it's ranks is fine by me :D
Natural Gas 4 burner stainless RED with auto-clean

One of the good things about being a turtle is that we can't dislocate our shoulders from participating in group hugs or patting ourselves on the back.

I think that the main thing that makes this so great is the main fact. We are all just people who like to share great food with good people, friends and family. And you know that great food is only share by good people. There are no bad people when it comes to great food.
I like to walk threw life on the path of least resistance. But sometimes the path needs a good kick in the ass.
