How can you not love a Bradley smoker??? 40% done after 3 1/2 hrs at 150^, another 40+% done in less than 5hrs. Last bit about to come out.

Racked at ready to set:

Finished product, yumming with a good hint of heat!

There was a recent thread about the costs of having a Bradley??? It saves me money! This boy just saved $230 off retail smoked salmon!!! Love it...

It looks great and the Bradley has almost paid for itself. I think that the costs are reasonable.

Between the several candied salmon and many beef jerky smokes and the bacon wrapped chicken breasts/pork tenderloins, this baby's long since paid for  ;)

The ease of use is worth something too. Plug it in, load it up, and turn it on.

Scrumptious looking salmon, Chiroken!! And I love your economical logic...seems to me like you could easily justify a new boat with that kinda thinking!  ;) ;D

Believe me, I've tried that logic on myself many times and it hasn't quite worked!!! I've got a red and white 18' bowrider ski boat (inboard/outboard leg)  that has a kicker off the swim platform. You would laugh seeing me out in the bay with scotty electrics out both sides. No Trophy, Seaswirl, Striper or Grady White for me  :( I'm in the "struggling to make 1 boat multi-purpose" mode. Kids are skiing/tubing, I'm waterskiing/wakeboarding 1 day, then mentak shift the next day. Tough at times ;) I will proudly say I christened this boat last fall with 23 & 25lb springs, double header, hit 10 seconds apart, in the boat solo! Craziest fishing time in my life!

PS. Thanks again for the recipe, very tasty! Brined for 24 hrs and really a good zing this time around. Quick rinse before racking and not salty at all. Was awesome eating warm this afternoon. I use teryaki rather than soy sauce too.

LOL....reminds me of the time I was taking my young daughters fishing at Whiskeytown lake in my Ski Nautique and a couple kids go by in a Bayliner saying, "What a waste of a good ski boat!"...little did they know!  ;)
