I think I am going to try to make one like yours and replicate one from the teazer pictures, yours looks real good Rick :)

The blade i got at wally mart this morning. Its a 4" SS pizza cutter blade. I put a better edge on it and did a handle re design.

This is just my working prototype.

Sorry for the blur  :o

Cuts pretty good. Made use of the whole radius of the blade. Thought that if i cut in half the blade would get dull in the hit position. This way the blade can rotate and use all the surface.

Still have some work to do on it.

Just thinking out loud.

Could you move the blade forward about an inch and have it tuck in behind the support arm. Thus giving a larger cutting area or at least utilize more of the cutting area?

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

Was thinking that and going to put a nylon washer on inside posts so the arm moves better.

The washer would move it out far enough for the blade to tuck in nicely with out altering the support arm.

Very impressed with your design.  Will keep watching to see your finished product.

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

the sausage looks great  :)
you need one of those old paper cutters to use for the sausages, that way you can cut a bunch at one time.  ;) :D
