Bacon Trial

Thanks ArnieM for your bacon post.

I had no brown sugar so I used 2 cups of regular sugar and 2 cups of Kosher Salt. Mixed very well.











2 cups on the bottom and covered with 2 more cups.

Into the fridge for 3-4 days.

Looks good. Gave a good rinse and soaked for an hour.





Going to give it 4 hours of smoke.

I'm running only with the SG @ 170+ in the Bradley.  I pre warmed it so that's not the issue.
