Just a quick shot of the machine park that will be responsible for running the SIM itself, avionics software and weather program.

The progress hasn't been noticeable as of late but I did manage to finish the landing-gear mechanism tonight.
I wasn't happy with the quality and realism of the unit I purchased so I tore it completely apart and built one myself from scratch, using only the knob and side plates from the old unit. I'm pretty happy with the end result, including the detail work. Movement is smooth and the upgraded spring setup provides a very nice feel.
The photo section on my website has updated pictures in the "instruments" folder, showing the construction of the mechanism to much greater detail.

Hey all!

It's been a while since my last post and I haven't updated my website lately either. Figured I'd wait until the sidewalls are done.
Here is at least a sneak peek of the upper sidewalls. They are pretty much ready for some filler, sanding and detail work.

I sure would like to see the Smoker that you could build.

I bet it would "Fly".

Great craftsmanship.

Thanks so much! Did you maybe mean the smokehouse I built last year? No wings or jet engine but it does the trick lol

That's Sweet!

Very Nice!
Sonny, that boy's a walking talking Rembrandt.
He's got more talent in his little finger than you have flammables on your back porch.

Of course, he's crazy as bat on crack.  But, who ain't?
Awrighten.
