Right now we are getting heavy downpours with some strong wind gusts.  I have heard reports that there are some power outages in the Miami area.  Just wanted to wish all of you living in Florida some well wishes and hope that you any your family will be safe while hurricane Isaac.  Perhaps the storm will track up to the midwest and deliver much needed rain to the drought stricken midwest.

Got me gas for the generator!  Got beer in the fridge and got some smoked brisket and pulled pork in the freezer and smoked some sticks yesterday.  Got the pistachios made and smoked last night so we are pretty much prepared for any power outages.

I've got the RV full of fuel, plus another 5K generator.

And 4 pork butts on the MAK.

The 2 days of rain before Isaac is not helping, although I can still see some of my yard.

All of our friends in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi along the coast need to keep an eye on Isaac.

We just drove over to my moms to let some water out of the pool, then we drove over to the beach.

The cops had all the parking areas staked out so I didn't get any pics.

It's really not that bad right now.

The power was out 30 minutes here. It just came back on.

The UPS I have on the MAK kept my pork butts going.

I've got about a foot of water in my yard. no road - it's under water.

I have a moat around my castle.

But the house is dry.

It's all good.
