fRIEND GAVE ME 2 PACKAGES OFCASINGS. tHEY ARE 19MMS AND SAY CLEAR PROCESSED COLLAGEN. jUST WANTED TO KNOW IF THEY ARE EDIBLE OR NONEDIBLE. THANKS FOR THE HELP

Yes Collagen casings are edible.  They are made of a gelatin product.

Collagen casings are made from a naturally occurring protein that's inherently safe. The raw material, bovine collagen, is usually traceable back to the individual animal the hide came from.

I remember that, i think it was asked about kosher and someone found plant collagen casings. So you are on the right also.
