Pulled Beef

So I pick up one of these, never heard of them before  :o



And I gave it a bath in white corn syrup and sprinkled on my mix of gunpowder and hot peppers.


After the 4 hour smoke I gave it.


I then tented it and back into the smoker to reach 200° F

That's what I think it is as well.  Bone in ribeye roast.  (or 'prime rib roast')

Was it expensive?

Ya it was up there in price. Think it was $6.99 a lbs. so ya  ;D

"Premium" is supposed to be loin or rib meat so rib roast is a good guess.  Wish I could afford to buy that for pulled beef. Even the "silver/select" is over $8/pound here.

They call them "Rolled Rib Roast" around here,,,,,,good hunk of beef

That has gotta be goood,,,,,bet the flavor is over the top

I would have sliced that bad bay like a pot roast,,,,,,,,,,,,,but thats just me  ;D

Yes I have been told that many times I should have sliced it  :o  OH well its all gone now and my lunches at work where excellent  ;D :P ;D
