Cold smoked stuff

So I picked me up some steaks the other day

And was gonna cold smoke em,,,,,,then I had an idear,,,,,,how bout some smoked Sriracha salt

Thems gonna be gooood

Here we go

After 2 hr of Oak,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,with my cold smoke set up the cabnet temp got up to 54 F and the temp outside was 51 F didnt even melt all the ice,,,,,gotta love it

Smells soooooo gooood!

The salt didnt take on much smoke this round

The steaks all wrapped up for some fridge time

Ran the salt through this thingy

Did up some hot peanuts,,,,,,smoked them for 2 hr usin Oak and

Threw the salt back in

Now were getin some smoke flavor on that Sriracha salt

Oh ya,,,,,,,,made up another batch of Sriracha ketchup too,,,,,,no pictures of that,,,,looks just like ketchup

Mixin up the ketchup is what gave the idear for the salt ;D

What a great idea on the salt and those steaks are going to be good.
How long do you let the steaks rest after smoking them?

A day or two,,,,,,,,,,,,the smoke really stands out then
