Tony Chachere's and Cajun Injectors both make great injectable sauces.

Butter and Jalapeno is great.

OU812 makes his own by clarifying butter and mixing it with seasoning.

The Renowned Mr. Brown is my favorite rub so far. I double the cayenne.

If you can get it, Carolina Treet is good for injection; so is apple juice.  I dunno about rub; you might ask KyNola, though.  He seems to be an expert in that area and recommends some favorite homemade thing that people keep using.  I forget the name - something like Fran's Nan's Jan's, that's it, Jan's Rub.

I don't inject, but 95% of the time I also use The Renowned Mr. Brown. It's a great rub and produces a fairly good bark.

Although I have not tried Jan's yet, I am partial to Oinker Rub by Iceman.

Jan's rub is the bomb!!  I use it on all kinds of meat, regardless of cooking method.  Having said that I have not tried Mr. browns

I've got the Smoke and Spice book, and use Wild Willy's Number Onederful Rub out of that book.
Nice flavor, and great bark.

Jan's is the only way to go. Just my opinion.
