Got a bunch of people coming over to watch the Giants (attempt) to whoop up on the Cowgirls.  Just threw them in the smoker.  This is my first attempt at feeding others without using the family as a test group.  Wish me luck!  I'll post more pics once they come out.

Your friends are in for a treat!  Those chicken rolls turn out great everytime.

I just peeked (I know i know) and they look awesome. Some of the cheese is all over the drip pan but that was to be expected.  Another 30-45 minutes and i'll pull em out.

DrunkenMick

I pulled them a few minutes ago and stuck into a 375 oven to finish off.  The internal temp was only like 145.  They were big pieces of chicken.

Gizmo

Those look like they will by mighty tasty.
I have chicken going as well but not stuffed and wrapped.  The stuff and wrap is on the ABTs.  Cream cheese, Italian sausage, Bad Byron's Butt Rub seasoning, wrapped with home made bacon.

Mick,
I did 15 of those boys in my BDS and they plateaued just like pork butt at about 145 for a couple of hours then took off again.  Can't believe Chargers took out the Colts!

Enjoy the chicken my friend.  Are your buddies proclaiming you the smoker king yet? :D  They surely will.

Well everyone seemed to love them.  There's none left if that tells any stories.

Strangest thing though.  I made four of them.  I pulled them out of the oven and i ran outside to pull the racks and drip pan and whatnot out of the OBS to get them soaking and came back and one was missing!  Everyone else in the house swears they didn't take it.  I did find the toothpicks near the table in my living room.

Anyhow, here's the picture with them minus the thieved one.

I bet the dogs get blamed, even if you don't have one.

Looks awesome.  Way to go Giants I was rooting for ya.  So are you hosting a Super Bowl party?  I think you will be getting nominated by your friends.

KyNola

Mick,
Those look perfect and I don't know how to tell you this but you have some Lying b______s for friends.  Giants were amazing today.  Congrats Mick.  Both on the game and more importantly the chicken.  They really looked awesome!

Those look perfect. We enjoy them here too and use Olds' recipe quite often. There is not a dog here mean enough to steal one from the humans...lol.
May the fragrance of thin blue smoke always grace your backyard.

Sorry about that DrunkenMick.  I just got back into town.  During my travels I passed by this house that had a wonderful odor coming from it.  Could not resist and swiped something that looked a lot like those in your post.  ::)  Must have been your place.  :D  Next time I will leave a cold one in its place.  Great job!
Life is short. Smile while you still have teeth.

I'll have to leave my dogs out next time :)

Thanks for the kind words.  I think next time i make these i'll use a thinner sliced bacon.  I used some real thick cut that i didn't think was cooked enough.
