Hello Fellow Smokers,

It has been a few months since I have smoked anything but i could not resist this weekend. The weather in Nj is very mild this weekend. Anyway, my question is if I am going to smoke a brisket and pork butt together which one should be on the top rack? Should i rotate between top and bottom or just leave one on top ? My thought was brisket on top. Is it recommended to smoke both together or should I smoke them separately? Thanks for your help.

I would put the pulled pork over the brisket.  Brisket will be leaner and will benefit from the fat of the pulled pork as well as the seasoning.

Yups, PP on top. I would try to keep the racks up as high in the box as possible. 2nd & 3rd spaces. JMHO

Thanks Guys. I will take your advice and put the pulled pork on top. Tomorrow will be a good day in NJ.
