Newbie here.  Getting ready to purchase the 6 rack digital.  I'm about a Sophomore on the smoking scale as I've used my Weber Silver exclusively.  Ribs, chicken and some brisket mostly.  This is a great form and I can't wait to get my unit and post some pictures of the first smoke!

Welcome aboard. Alot of great info here, I'm new to the forum also and new to Bradley.

Wildcat

Welcome to the forum.  You will love the Bradley.  I used to have an offset smoker, but gave it away after a few months with the Bradley.

Welcome aboard BF.  I got my DBS6 back about October, '08 and have really enjoyed it.  Look around for some great recipes here and on http://www.susanminor.org/.  The only bad smokes I've had were all my fault, but mostly real good!

Order lots of pucks.  My favorites are Apple, Hickory and Mesquite.

Good Luck and enjoy!

Welcome aboard BF!  Lots of info, recipes and helpful folk.  Stay away from SmokingDuck - he just had puppies.  Oh and the crazy lady with the teabags - luv ya LQ.  Ditto the advice about lots of pucks - especially the "M" ones.  Grab ahold and hang on!  Oh and we like pictures - some of us can't read too well. ;D

BF,

Welcome to the forum.  You'll find this site just slightly less addictive than your Bradley.  These folks are great.  I'd like to say that they're like family..., but heck, they treat me better than my family most of the time.

Come here often, ask lots of questions, and share, share, share.

Best of Luck,

Jeff

I have read about Yard and Pool, but what is the cheapest place to get pucks?  And why hasn't anyone made their own (I haven't read anything anyways)?  Thanks everybody!

Sometimes Amazondotcom has them cheap. There have been a few that make their own pucks with hydraulic rams.
