My handle come from my nickname that all my friends have for me....
Is it bad if my wife refers to the smoker as "The Mistress"?

I've posted before but like Kevin, my handle is my name.  Also not very creative here - except with some food.

I just like to sail.  I have been sailing for 40 years and used to race.  Got to old then started to race remote control 1 meter sailboats.  That got just way too expensive with all of the traveling to regattas so I gave it up.  I no longer own a boat and plan to keep it that way.  I can always hitch a ride with others and drink their beer and let them clean the boat.   ;D

Enough ain't enough and too much is just about right.

Pretty easy.  Initals and I am a huge Aggie, since it took five years of my life and every penny I had to get through there.

BuyLowSellHigh

Well I wasn't very creative when I signed up.  It's what I do (or at least try to do) for a living, trading in capital markets - buy low, sell high, not necessarily in that order.
I like animals, they taste good!

Sailor - Know what you mean.  My last boat was a Sabre 28.  It got kind of expensive for the slip and winter storage.  Plus, the marina was about an hour from home.  It got to be too much.

But I'll tell you one thing.  I was a kind of work-a-holic.  Getting out on that boat for the weekend totally took my mind off of work.  Peaceful.

Arnie....you got that right.  The best boat that I ever owned was a Newport 27.  It was a cruiser and I loved to work on the bright work on the boat.  I would go out on Friday and come back late Sunday.  You know the difference between a racer and a cruiser?  Cruisers never spill their beer. LOL....if you sail even while cruising and another boat is around you have a race even if you don't admit it.  I would love to run up on another cruiser and turn the wench giving a clicking sound and then watch the skipper jump and grab the jib sheet and start wenching it in.   ;D

I've always loved the water (but have never sailed) and I got a laugh out of your quote. That's competiveness and it's good in anything!

Sailor - I don't want to drag this thread OT so I'll send you a PM and we can swap sailing stories  ;D

CRG, I didn't seen any Skynyrd in there!!!

classicrockgriller

Look under L for Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Ronnie (oldest) Donnie and Johnny Van Zant

Ronnie was one of the original members of LZ and died in the plane crash.

Donnie is lead guitar and singer for 38 Special.

Johnny had a band called the Johnny Van Zant Band.

When Ronnie died they finally talked Johnny into taking over his brother spot.

I saw Donnie (38 Special) several years ago at Big Spring Jam here in Huntsville Al. It was the best outdoor concert I've seen in 20-30 years. They gave it all!

I also say Lynyrd Skynyrd outdoors in about 74-75 with 3 Dog Night. Although I don't remember very much about it?

There are alot of Concerts I don't remember much about. ;D
