Why do you have ice in there.
Dang it has been in the 20's here in the panhandle.

Global Warming my ........ ;D

FLBentRider

I put the ice in to try to offset the heat from the Smoke generator.

I just took it out. the bottom rack was a little melted right above the SG burner, but overall the temps were under 100F

You'd better take those 3 melted pieces and send to TenPoint5, OU812 and myself...   We'll set them on our dashboards for a quick deep freeze.  ;)

Them cheeses look great.

stc, 10.5 and OU live in the frozen midwest tundra. I can still sit on my deck  :D ......well for a few mins atleast  :D  ;D

love the smoke

Well a few more sleepless nights for me coming up here

Snowing now 0 degrees, 4-7 inches expected

Blowing tomorrow 25-30 mph winds

Arctic cold front -25 degrees thats without windchill yet

So if you need to cold smoke some cheese come on down

When I cold smoke and I want to use ice i put it on the v-pan that way you dont get hardly any heat from the SG and when it melts it goes in the "puck pan" to extinguish the pucks
