Beer Bread

I'm so bored that i went to the oven dept and made some beer bread  ;D And i aint even supposed to eat bread  :D  ;D

What were your ingredients for the beer bread?  Was it just the flour and beer mixture?  Did you have to add sugar?

My beer bread recipe.

3 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
12 ounces beer
2 tablespoons melted butter

Pre heat oven to 350*

Mix flour, sugar and beer with a fork, batter should be slightly lumpy. Grease a 9x5 bread loaf pan. Pour batter into pan and top with the melted butter. Bake for 50/55 mins.

I've never heard of beer bread but I love beer and bread so it must be good.
