This is the starter this bread came from.

Made two loafs

And 7 rolls

This bread is just delicious.

I will send someone a starter of this if they want it.

Wow, you cooked them up perfectly. Nice color!

Your bread and rolls looks perfect.

I'd like to try your starter, now that I have some one ho can walk me through makin fresh bread.

Hint, hint.  ;D

We ate a whole loaf and two rolls within 30 minutes of it coming out of the oven.

This is the first time I made loafs out of it and they slice up perfect.

I can slice them as thin as store bought bread.

Gonna be trying this bread out in some of the dipping sauce that was recommended.

I really don't see any reason why I couldn't ship you the starter in a cool pac.

My mothers Husband says mine looks better than hers. ;D

That would be great if you could. We buy that frozen bread all the time and it dont last long enough to make it to a bag.

So did your mothers husband get a good thump on the back of the head after he said that?

I will make you a starter and get some times on how long it will take to Nebraskee. ;D

Tabby will get a kick out of making this bread.

Gizmo

Hey, can I place an order for when I come out to Houston.  That bread looks perfect.

That would great if the starter could make the trip all the way up here to Nebraskee

I agree Taby will have a good time helpin the old man out makin this bread.

We were at the ball fields Fri. Sat and Sun. and she was talkin when we were between games eatin some snack sticks that shes goin to miss all this smokey goodness.

I told her that we can get her a separate fridge just for all the stuff the old man is goin to make her.

She really likes that idea.

We had a discussion going about free sourdough starter last September.

My "Oregon Trail" starter got killed about two weeks ago.

After I mix in the first ingredients, I usually place in the oven (no heat, just the light on) to proof.

Wifie came and turned on oven without looking inside. Killed it dead. I have just enough dry

starter to make it one more time.

The "Oregon Trail" is a true sourdough.

This one from my Mom is a sweet bread.

I hate it when then that happens.

When I was at my BIL's place I used the oven. Turned it on and started to walk away.

Something said "look inside first"

Sure enough... they store stuff in there....
