People gave me lots of great ideas of what to try first, but when I saw the Bacon Explosion I knew that would have to be it.

The starting ingredients.

Not bad for my first try at a bacon weave.  Wasn't that hard with the instructions on the forum.

Before being rolled.

The finished product.

Hopefully I get some after pictures before the eating begins.

Nice, I'll probably be doing one of these next week myself.
Rodney Dangerfield got his material from watching me.

trust me.  This isn't something you wolf down.  There is a ton of flavor packed inside that weave.  I'm sure you'll have time for plenty of pictures.

Yer on your way now, just don't forget at fatties have no limits, I have used spinach, pepperoni, many cheeses, shrooms, bust out some brat, any flavor, I like the hot Italian for a fatty. Every one is a new adventure! Bring up the heat if you like with Cayan and Japs! It's all fun!

Very nice! Please let me know your smoke (cook) time and temp. I've got to try that!

2 - 3 hours of smoke and an it around 160.

I've yet to give those a try.  Looks like you've got it down pat.  Very nice weave.  Looking forward to the "after" pix.

Sorry about the delay in the after pics, but last nights beer drinking seems to have slowed everything down today.

The final Product.

Sliced

The taste and flavor was unbelieveable.

I used 3 hours of hickory smoke at 220 F.

Nice job OB.  As others have said, nice weave too.  The final product looks really good.

I've got a left over biscuit and with a slice of that in between I can see a tasty breakfast at work in the morning. Yummy!

I can see a painful day of heartburn.

Thanks for reminding me.  Did ABTs yesterday.  Everyone had some.  The "leftovers" were on a plate in the kitchen.  Every time I went in there, there were fewer on the plate.  I grabbed the last one, wrapped it up and put it into the fridge.  Sounds like a good snack for tonight.
