I just got a Bradley smoker. When cold smoking, how do I eliminate the "E1 beeping error", since the unit is too far away to plug the sensor in? Forgive me if I missed the answer in another post. I haven't come across this specific problem.

Hi St. Alfonzo;

Welcome to the forum.

If you are handy with a soldering iron, you can make a By-Pass Plug. The directions are included in the link below.

Bradley Digital By-Pass Plug

Or you can buy two 2.1mm x 5.5mm x 9.5mm DC Plugs, get the necessary length of wire the same gauge as your Bradley sensor, and solder a plug on each end of the wire. That way you can plug your homemade sensor wire into the generator to the cabinet.

Or if you are not handy with a soldering iron, you can also purchase the bypass plug directly from Bradley, by email, but in these days of the pandemic, that may take awhile.

Thank you for the information. I think I can scrounge enough parts to make something work.

The E1 beep error on Bradley smokers usually occurs when the temperature sensor is not properly connected. When smoking cold, if the sensor is too far away to plug in, you can try some of the following solutions: Incredibox game

Reconnect the sensor: Make sure the sensor wire is firmly connected and not loose.
Use sensorless mode: Some Bradley machines allow you to bypass the sensor to use manual mode when smoking cold. Check your manual to confirm.
Use an extension cord: If the sensor does not reach, you can try an extension cord to extend the plug distance.
