Very true.  Smoke on the water had yet another meaning in October of '07.  This was taken from across a man made lake a few miles from my house.  It was a scary time indeed.

Hello Neighbor.  The fire reached a point directly across the street from me, behind my neighbor's house.  Way too close for comfort.  The whole neighborhood was "smoked".  Worse yet, I was out of town on business and my wife was at home alone.
