Thats what I was thinking CRG, would like a little more crisp crust myself.

I ate all the corner pieces when she did them in the brownie pan

I think I saw an "all corners" brownie pan at Williams and Sonoma once.

Kind of a zig-zag edge.

That is kind of a cool pan, but $35 cool I dont know

That pan isn't for me.  I'll go the old fashioned way with a cookie sheet and then just sit on the fire to keep my buns warm.  ;D  Now, Where's my fire extinguisher  ??? ???

Arnie, if you sit on that, you might like it.

I don't have one, I just saw it advertised somewhere. I wouldn't pay $35.00US for it either.

When i have cornbread with beans, soup, etc I like a thinner so you get more crust and the juice doesn't turn it to mush.
My dad loved his cornbread in a glass of milk.

That doesn't deserve a reply.  So why did I do it?

I made these again last night and they turned out good, but huge. My uncle who came for his share of the BBRs decided to use the muffin pan. Thanks CRG

I am not as "think" as you "drunk" I am.

CRG,

Thanks, going to try this recipe -  I have some smoked cheddar hiding behind the sausage casings in the downstairs fridge (nobody looks behind those ;D) .  I have some beef short ribs in my farm delivery today and will do both tomorrow.   I was just away for a week+ and the only places near by were pizza places , I'm ready for some real food.
