Olds, look for some schools with "Balanced Calendars".   They go more or less year round...  So summer gardening would be a perfect fit for them.

I just figured my wife and kids already know how to kill plants in the house. Or the cat eats them so why not let some kids get enjoyment out of a growth container. Maybe they will get the desire to go home and have Mom and Dad grow something.
