Have you tried Lady Blyhe?
Have not seen that one yet. May not be available in this area. I will check though. I really do like this Admiral Nelson so the lady will have to be exceptional to beat it.

Not that one either. I do not do many things on the rocks. I mix the Nelson with coke. Kind of like vanilla coke with a strong kick.

I really thought Captain, Admiral, and Lady were pretty much the same thing, only difference was price.  Guess there must be a bit of a taste difference as well.  To me, when mixed with Coke/Pepsi, it sort of tastes like those butterscotch candies....but it's been a while since I've consumed that, and will be a while again as alcohol don't go with antibiotics that well.

To me the Admiral tastes much better than the Captain and costs a lot less. I would be willing to pay more for the Admiral than the Captain.

Is it alright to take your vitiams with your Whiskey?

I think so.

Those are cool...   I toured the AB brewery in St Louis a couple years ago, and they always have 'samples' at the end of the tour.   They had a couple of those on tap.    Good stuff.

I have a job at the AB plant in Houston going on right now and they will be there till Thanksgiving.

I've taken the tour so many times they just let me straight to the sample room.

The St Louis one is really neat.  And really old..   That's where they keep the Clydesdales at. (at least some of them)

Now that InBEV has taken over, there have been a lot of changes there.  Not for the better.  >:(
